This month’s theme is Under Construction. The children will be learning the letters C, A, M, and P in language. For math, they will be learning the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3 and learning about circle and square shapes. The colors for the month are yellow, black, and gray. Sprinkler Days were a favorite for all the children and we can’t wait until next year to do it again! Our annual book fair was a huge success. We surpassed our goal of $1,000 in sales, with a total of $1,514! Words can’t express how thankful we are for all the parents who purchased books for their child and for our classrooms. We could not have done it with out your support!
Our one years old were full of enthusiasm when they were pretending to be a construction crew. The only thing better to a one year old than building a block tower, is knocking it down!
The children in Dev. 2 had a blast driving the bulldozer in the mud!
Dev. 3A was under construction as the children created bulldozer collages. They had a lot of fun learning all about bulldozers.
The children in Dev. 3B pretended to be architects. They constructed buildings out of popsicle sticks, blocks, and gears! Some built tall skyscrapers while others made houses and a town.
The children in Dev. 4 are gearing up for their transition to Kindergarten. They have worked so hard throughout the year. To recognize all their accomplishments, they had enjoyed a End of Year Picnic!
